An anonymous tipster sent us a copy of this video to show what the Sidekick LX is capable of. Whether or not this will ever see the catalog is unknown as I’m sure it would take some lawyers and licensing. But regardless it’s a great example of what the Sidekick LX actually is capable of in the gaming arena.

Toshiba has started shipping its new 14.1-inch Satellite M300 laptop. With a retail price starting at $949.99, users can choose between the M300-S4822 or the M300-S4826.
With the slew of new laptops recently launched by Toshiba, I’m beginning to believe that it is the company’s way of introducing its Fusion finish that is bonded directly into the chassis of the laptops. Like the previous models recently released by Toshiba, the Satellite M300 also features the Sleep-and-Charge USB ports and the LED-illuminated “Feather Touch” multimedia command keys.
In addition, the Satellite M300 series laptops also feature Harman Kardon speakers and makes use of Dolby Sound Room technology, built-in webcam with facial recognition software, and DVD/Super Multi drive. The Satellite M300 laptop series features two models, the M300-S4822 is packed with 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 3GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive, while the M300-S4826 features 2.10GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive.
The Satellite M300-S4822 and M300-S4826 are available now and retail for $949.99 and $1049.99 respectively.

A NES Emulator (by AcidAngel) is available for the SideKick, it reportedly works like a charm but it is not available yet and does not have a price. Also, remember that downloading a ROM (game) is most likely illegal, so this is going to be somewhat “underground” (well, like many arcade emulators).

Granted, it’s becoming increasingly simple to just Twitter your day away with the smorgasbord of connectivity options out there today, but if you’re just too productive to bother with that, the Tame concept is likely to become your next best friend. The cube shown above can be equipped with customized statuses that will inform anyone trying to contact you (via Facebook, text, cellphone, IM, fax, telegraph, can-and-string, etc.) exactly why you aren’t responding. For convenience, each panel is assigned a color depending on the severity of your away-ness (i.e. red for “I’m on a 14-hour flight to Fiji with no blackberry service.”), which can easily be glanced by the owner if dashing off in a hurry. Of course, this thing would be entirely more appealing if it included a robotic secretary that actually screened your calls and passed along those that were important, but hey, you’ve got to start somewhere.

This is what Fujitsu thinks a wooden laptop should look like. Obviously, this is a brainstorming session on “how can we jump on the Green wagon and charge a little more?”
I actually like it when it is closed, but absolutely hate it when it is open. I don’t know if customers would actually pay for something like this, or for another “bamboo laptop”, but I did not see something that I would buy. Would you pay for something like this? Fujitsu (in Japanese)

InfoSync reviews the Samsung Ace and writes, “If you are already using Windows Media player to manage all of your music and videos, the Samsung Ace will play nicely with your setup. Of course, the memory slot tops out at 2GB, which is less than we’re seeing on the newest smartphones, but not too bad. For multimedia services, Sprint goes about halfway, maybe less, giving the phone access to Sprint TV, but not the Sprint Music store, which is unfortunate, or the more rarified Sprint Movie store. The phone paired easily with our stereo Bluetooth headphones, but we would always prefer a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so we can use any pair of cans we have lying around.”

Energy-conserving light bulbs are becoming very cheap these days, and if you are a manufacturer, how do you differentiate yourself with such a commodity? By adding an ionizer that –they claim- will purify the air.
First if all, people are still fighting over whether ionic air purifiers work. Even if it does, we don’t know if this light bulb does work as advertised. However, if the two previous “if” are true, then this might be a good idea… but that’s too much “if” for me, I’ll skip.

Hirokazu Hamamura the head of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu’s parent company is predicting that Nintendo will unveil the next-generation DS at E3 2008 this summer. So why are we positive on this rumor? Well it is not made by some anonymous and self proclamatory Nintendo employee but by a businessman who heads Famitsu the leading gaming mag in Japan. Hirokazu has not commented on the hardware or cost. So how would you like to change the Nintendo DS? I am a proud owner of a DS Lite since quite some time and here is my wishlist for the DS 2. 1) Bigger screens 2) Powerful speakers 3) A mobile phone attachment. The DS as a mobile phone is a god send gift. But again it is a bit too much to ask.

If you miss those sliding puzzles you played with as a child, then you’ll be happy to hear that there’s an Easy Tiles concept phone by Tzu-Fu Wang. It’s a S60 based phone with a shell made of tiles. You can customize the tiles with your favorite prints and slide around like the picture puzzle game.
